Since graduating from the University of Houston Law Center in 2009, I have represented clients accused of crimes. During that time I have attended extensive training and continuing education in all aspects of state criminal defense ranging from pretrial investigation, grand jury presentations, pretrial motions, trial preparation including crime scene investigation, trial before judge or jury. Additionally, I have attended training and continuing education post-trial matters such as appeals, motions for new trial, motions to revoke community supervision (probation), motions to adjudicate guilt, and parole preliminary and revocation hearings.
If you decide my office is the right fit for your situation after we consult, I will represent you to the best of my abilities. This includes investigating the law and facts relevant to your case, meeting with prosecutors and negotiating on your behalf, and conducting pretrial hearings and trial, if necessary. I have also represented several clients in post-trial matters such as appeals and motions to revoke probation/community supervision. When choosing a lawyer to represent you in a criminal matter it is important to choose someone with experience. I will review the evidence, including dash camera videos, photographs, 911 calls/audio, as well as investigate police officers, visit crime scenes, and explain the law relevant to your case in a way that you can understand. I will do all of this hand in hand with you, the client, so that your objectives can be met, if possible.
I also represent clients in parole preliminary hearings and parole revocation hearings. I have represented clients in hundreds of parole hearings and am familiar with the law and procedure in defending someone accused of violating their conditions of parole. I have represented clients in parole hearings in Montgomery County, Walker County, Grimes County, San Jacinto County, Waller County, Burleson County, Brazos County, and wherever I am needed.
